Friday morning one fine January day in 1994. Approx 150 people make a decision to create a formal environmentally focused non-profit. As the Tobago arm of the venerable Field Naturalists Society, the group were already involved in working with nature.
The following month the dream took shape as four of the people present volunteered as interim directors of Environment Tobago. Today we look ack and thank Rick Hayton, Patricia Turpin, Kamau Akili and Shawn Roberts for leading the work.
