Pursuing the Schools Awareness agenda

As part of our 2020 outreach, Environment Tobago is actively getting in touch with the islands schools, friends all, who have participated in our programme over the years.

This was with a view to close the gap between two vastly different sectors, civil society and the traditional education belt. As a bonus there is hope the effort may strengthen relations, identify approaches

The ET quest which will be ongoing is, aside from finding gaps if any, is to ensure Tobago schools are taking on board the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) - in part or in parcel. Indeed the current drive by our leadership is to forge more working partnerships (Goal 17). This is imperative as the education system plays a critical role in society's development and its effective adoption (or eventual rejection) of the SDGs.
